Today is my last day at the office. Farewell 84 mile daily commute and being too broke to afford pedicures on my $11/hr. Thank you to my little brother for securing me a spot at his very lucrative restaurant. Love on ya, Feathered Friend. I am going back to the service industry, something I swore on May 6, 2011 I’d never do again. But I’m going back to school, back to making real money, and I’m ok with that. Someone said to me recently, “Never say never nor draw lines in the sand. Life should be an adventure, not an itinerary to be planned early and followed without change or fail forever.” I would tend to agree. If life is a hike through a strange forest, I’m about to make this overgrown left and see which weird, whacky, wonderful gifts are waiting for me this time.
